Caddo Lake 2024

Caddo Lake is a very special place, spending a week with the Cypress Trees allows one to understand the main subject at a deeper level. At first everything looks the same, but by the third day, a connection forms and only certain trees stand out. By day five, compositions flow effortlessly, and one starts to feel the healing powers of nature. 

This trip my goals were to refine my vision, reflect on why I capture certain images through journaling in the field, and to challenge myself to see differently. 

I hope that as you explore this gallery, some images make you pause and wonder - How did she take that? - while others make you reflect on how beautiful mother nature can be.
