White Sands 2025

My trip to White Sands National Park was magical. It was one I was looking forward to for over a year especially because it was an opportunity to learn from Wayne Suggs and Marc Muench. I went with the intention of being patient with myself, challenged myself to see abstractly, and focused on living in the present to really soak in the landscape. It’s a landscape that keeps you engaged, compositions take time to reveal themselves and continuously change with the light. I enjoyed focusing on the patterns and shapes of the dunes and mostly used my long lens to capture abstract scenes.
